Steps for Success in Separation Anxiety Training

Suspended Absences, during our training it is important that we are never going over your dog's current threshold of alone time. It will be ideal to find a reputable pet sitter, daycare, or coordinate schedules with family members in time for our training together.

Commitment to practicing your customized daily departure missions, ideally 15-30 minutes a day 5 times a week

Online Platform - We work with our clients virtually to best recreate the daily life of you and your dog & remove the extra variable of a trainer being present. We require video recordings of your departure missions for progress tracking & analysis.

Understanding of time frame expectations - depending on the severity of your dog's fear of being left alone, it can take months to reach your final time stamp goal. We are here to celebrate your wins along the way & keep you motivated!
Separation Anxiety Pricing
Virtual Assessment - $90
Before we begin, we need to gather background & behaviour history on your dog. We determine your dog's current baseline is for being home alone through a live virtual assessment. From there, we discuss how to move forward with our training plan. The assessment fee is credited toward your package if you choose to proceed.
5 Week Package - $500 + HST

Gabrielle Messuti, Founder & Lead Trainer. KPA-CTP, BSc.
Gabrielle has worked with dogs for 9 years and has seen a significant increase in separation anxiety cases, particularly during and after COVID. With her Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Professional Certification and a Bachelor of Science from TMU, she uses a systematic approach, inspired by Malena Demartini, to address separation anxiety. This method focuses on keeping the dog below their anxiety threshold, using carefully planned departures, and desensitizing them to all aspects of being alone to build lasting confidence. Gabrielle’s goal is to help dog owners enjoy the freedom of leaving their dogs at home guilt-free—while offering more competitive pricing than others in the market.
All separation anxiety training begins with the $90 virtual assessment to gather essential information about your dog & begin devising a plan. Your consultation fee will be credited if you proceed training.
