As new dog owners with our rescue Yoshi, we were in a bit over our heads the first few weeks after we brought her home. Gabrielle was great with us; teaching us so many useful tools and training techniques. She personalized each training session to not only teach us the foundations but also to any specific issues we were having. Her print outs of what we covered each session and recap emails are super helpful so that we can always refer to them and keep consistent in our training. Yoshi's behaviour improved significantly in the weeks that we worked with Gabrielle and we can't thank her enough!!

We've seen many improvements in our puppy Wally after enlisting Gabrielle's help especially with being calm (default down), nipping and leash skills. We loved her in home visits because she can really help tailor training to our lifestyle and home set up and focus on what matters to us the most. Gabrielle checks in on our progress prior to every session and troubleshoots. Her handouts and digital summary of our sessions are very useful to reference while we practice during the week.

Gabrielle is always quick to answer emails and any questions we have with Wally. Private training really makes a difference in Wally's progress and we are so glad we found her!

After completing the reactive dog rehab package with her, we’ve seen such a positive difference in Binou, and we truly appreciate Gabrielle’s compassionate and individualized approach to training.

What stood out to us most was how patient she is, always meeting Binou exactly where he’s at, and tailoring the training plan to his specific needs. Unlike our previous experience with a different trainer, Gabrielle doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. She listened to all my concerns and equipped us with practical management techniques for navigating the challenges of city life with a reactive dog. Thanks to her guidance, I now feel much more confident with the tools and strategies we have in place.

The session summaries Gabrielle sent after each lesson, along with the handouts, made the training process much more organized and less stressful. It was reassuring to have a clear roadmap for moving forward.

Sage and I loved working with Gabrielle! She has so much patience for new learners and was always available for questions. Gabrielle was a phenomenal trainer. Very warm and patient with our dog Broly. She was very helpful with his puppy fundamentals and reactivity issues. She constantly checked in and very quickly became one of Brolys best friends. I cant recommend her more.

I had such a great experience with Gabrielle! She is very patience and insightful. She taught me how to train and manage my dog reactivity. After my last session with Gabrielle, I spent the whole year, everyday, doing engage and disengage with my dog and a few management techniques. The result was amazing. It has been a little over a year and he has improved so much. He is more calm during walks. He barely bark or lunge at other dogs when he see them. He seems to calm down a lot faster if he reacts. I am very happy with his result. I would definitely recommend Gabrielle to friends and family!!

Gabrielle helped my dog overcome behavioral issues including reactivity towards other dogs. I've tried a few trainers in the past but have noticed a significant improvement in my dog's behavior thanks to Gabrielle's easy-to-follow methods. I loved that Gabrielle came directly to our neighborhood to work on my dog's triggers. She was also always available for follow-up questions.

Last May we adopted a young pup who was found pregnant in a ditch in Manitoba,once she finished raising her pups we adopted her. She came to us with no leash manners, no house manners and reactive to almost all dogs (except our senior girl). It was VERY important to my husband and myself that we got a trainer who had experience with dogs of her background, was positive reinforcement, and was able to come to us and work with us one-on-one. Gabby check marked all our boxes and more. She showed us how to teach Fae to be a more confident dog, and showed us how to work with Fae to obtain our training goals. To help us, she wrote down each lesson that we worked on so we can refer to it when we needed a reminder. She helped us so much, and I recommend her to EVERYONE who is looking for an awesome trainer. We used Gabrielle’s training services for the Puppy Perfect Start package and I have nothing but positive things to say! Gabrielle is an incredible trainer, she’s very knowledgeable, non judgmental and the sweetest person you will ever meet! My puppy loved her from day one. I appreciate that Gabrielle offers customizable packages and it’s not a one size fits all as we had some specific puppy issues we wanted to focus on so we were able to discuss this during our consultation. Gabrielle offers both in person and virtual sessions which I found helpful to have the option to do virtual if needed. I had really lost my confidence with training my puppy due to some experiences with another trainer and I got my confidence back while working with Gabrielle! She is so knowledgeable and really knows how to not only work with dogs but also the people. The homework was easy to follow and understand and I appreciated the handouts and follow up emails as it’s easy to forget what you learned after the session. My partner and I are so grateful for Gabrielle and her training sessions as we have a new puppy and it’s all thanks to her incredible talent!! Gabrielle is awesome! I used both the puppy package as well as the walk and train package and I see a huge improvement in my puppy! Gabrielle is great! Our dog used to make going to the dog park a bit of a nightmare because she’d bark at strangers. Gabrielle helped by teaching us “boop”. Now our dog runs back and taps her nose to our fist. Now, we can get her to come over to us before she even starts barking.

Gabrielle also showed us a really simple ways to introduce Bridgette to strangers, which has helped so much with her fear of new people. Plus, she always had clear lesson plans and even brought printouts so we could go over everything together at home. Would highly recommend.

Gabrielle is an amazing dog trainer. I have a Chow Chow and needed help on his loose leash walking and disengagement skills. Her expertise, empathy and patience really helped me as a first time dog mom. I appreciate the time she took to explain the exercises and made sure I knew how to do them properly so that I could train my dog on my own. Gabrielle provided a behavioral consultation for our new rescue dog and dogsat for her while we were away one weekend. The behavioral consultation was extremely helpful! With Gabrielle's assistance, we were able to help our pup get over her fear with men (she was having trouble connecting with my partner.) Gabrielle gave us specific activities to try with our dog and her gentle and positive rewarding approach moved our dog from veering away from my husband every time he came into a room, to being 100 % obsessed with him over the course of a week! We were seriously amazed.

While dog sitting, Gabrielle sent us videos and photos in order to keep us informed about how our dog was doing. Our dog can be a little shy, but warmed up to Gabrielle almost immediately. Gabrielle left our house immaculate. She was a top sitter!

We love Gabby! She helped LD our Chinese Crested Powder Puff with his resource guarding and a few other issues he was having. She is so kind and gentle with her technique. And it works!!!!! We highly recommend the dog mamaa. We would not hesitate hiring Gabrielle. Our 11 year old dog has osteoarthritis and started to show signs of aggression. Gabrielle gave me some very helpful tips on how to approach him with sensitized touching. It made a world of difference!

We highly recommend Gabrielle! She is an amazing trainer and loves our dogs. We ambitiously purchased two puppies (brother and sister). Other trainers said they could not help us because it is too difficult to train two new puppies at the same time. Gabrielle enthusiastically accepted the challenge and she has been been our saviour. She has excellent, creative ideas, is kind and loving, and our puppies are well-behaved and both have developed very sweet dispositions. They are wonderful with other dogs, love Gabrielle and are definitely learning positive behaviour. I am certain the hardest part has been training us humans to follow the training protocols! We hope Gabrielle continues to work with our beloved dogs well into their adulthood!

Gabrielle was a pleasure to work with, and both of my dogs loved her. She was able to provide a lot of support and left copies of lessons behind, which was very helpful for me, as I was able to reference them later on. Both of my dogs had different issues that required work, and we were able to alternate and focus on one dog at a time. The in person training itself I think is very valuable as it allows for Gabrielle to not only work with your dog, but you as well. Also it provides a great opportunity to further strengthen the bond with your dog. Lastly, Gabrielle had a lot of great tips and suggestions to provide to me in regard to each of the dogs individual issues, which I found extremely useful. Overall, I found the training to be very insightful and beneficial. Not only do I feel more confident in continuing the training with my dogs and strengthening the skills learned, but it allowed my dogs to develop a great foundation to build upon as well. We came to Gab to help us with excessive hallway barking and separation anxiety. I learned new techniques with positive reinforcement and best part was having that support to keep me on the right track! Not to mention my pup loves her. Gabrielle was super helpful with training Ozzy, our 10 month old rottweiler! She gave us tips on how to stop counter surfing and keep Ozzy calm and relaxed in the living room while the humans can watch tv or cook dinner! She is very knowledgeable about dog behaviour and shared a lot of tips and games for us to practice during the week and keep training ongoing. Ozzy and I had so much fun during our sessions - Gabrielle definitely helps to strengthen the bond between dog and tutor, through positive reinforcement!

I would highly recommend Gabrielle. We were sceptical at first as our min-pin/chihuahua is already 4 years old. Between this and the breed being known as high strung barkers, but we gave it a shot.
